Design Story

The focal panel is a circular black cabochon-style medallion holding the BAL raven-head mark in purple, gold and white, with three stars above and RAVENS set in serif capitals below. A ring of clear jewel-like facets frames it, echoed by smaller settings across the shoulder band. A ribbon banner crosses the lower third reading PLAY LIKE A RAVEN, and beneath it a purple shield with a gold B anchors the base. The palette is disciplined: deep purple, near-black, warm antique gold, cool white sparkle. Scrollwork, sunburst rosettes and a football motif fill the field in a maximalist, layered arrangement that still keeps the crest dominant.

Use & Experience

Vertical hierarchy does the work here. The crest sits at eye level on the front-facing area, the banner breaks the mid-body diagonally, and the ornamental base grounds the taper. Gold linework runs toward the handle side, so the wraparound composition stays continuous from any angle. High statement level, low fuss to style.
