Design Story

The focal panel is a circular medallion: a panther head in stern profile, jaw set, framed by a gold ring and small star markers, with BLACK and PANTHER arcing above and below in raised serif lettering. Around it, the wraparound composition runs in relief-style relief patterning — chevrons, arrowhead motifs, layered linework and a lower band of triangular claw shapes reading like a collar. The palette is disciplined: near-black tones with warm brass accents only where hierarchy demands it. Nothing shouts. At distance you read the medallion, mid-range the geometry, close up the fine engraved-look borders.

Use & Experience

The medallion sits at the natural eye line of the vertical proportion, so the tumbler reads as one graphic from any angle. The banded top and base act as visual bookends, the handle side keeps the panel clear, and the dense pattern leaves just enough negative space around the crest.
