Design Story

The focal panel sits high on the body: a masked feline head in three-quarter profile, calm and closed-mouthed, framed by a circular medallion of interlocking knotwork, arrowhead motifs and fine tribal geometry. The linework is thin and metallic-looking rather than filled, so the navy ground reads through the drawing and keeps the composition airy.
