Some designs move. This one holds still and asks to be read slowly, from the crown of the lid to the base of the vessel.
Design Story
The composition is strictly vertical and strictly symmetrical. A deep navy focal panel carries the letter B, framed by an oval of fine radiating lines and finished with jewel-like red accents that catch the eye first. Beneath it, the typography descends in scale — BOSTON, RED SOX, FENWAY PARK, THE PRIVATE CLUB — with a small red sock motif closing the sequence, and a badge-style EST. 1901 marker above. Warm gold linework, arched pillars, baseball-stitch curves and a diamond lattice fill the surrounding field, while the lower band opens into a hexagonal cartouche holding an engraved-looking ballpark façade. Burgundy, navy and antique gold carry the whole palette. It is maximalist, but ordered.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, that vertical hierarchy does real work: the emblem sits at eye level as the focal panel, the ornament wraps around the body, and the architectural band anchors the base. The dark red lid and handle bracket the composition rather than compete with it.

Ornament as structure — a quiet, deliberate object to keep within reach.
