Some designs shout. This one is built, panel by panel, like architecture. The eye lands first on the circled crimson B, then travels outward through gold framing until the whole tumbler reads as a small monument in deep green.
Design Story
The dominant surface is a saturated forest green, ribbed with fine vertical linework that echoes a scoreboard wall. At the center sits a jewel-effect crimson letter B inside a gold ring, with a plaque above reading FENWAY PARK EST. 1912. Below it, stacked gold type spells BOSTON RED SOX and THE GREEN MONSTER, closed by a small pair of red socks. Flanking columns carry retired-style numerals — 9, 4, 8, 27, 6 — like column markings. The lower band shifts into an engraved-look ballpark facade, then a badge row: GREEN MONSTER 37 FT, 379, BOSTON 02115. A crown of green gem-effect dots rings the top. Layered, ornamental, decorative in the best sense.
Use & Experience
The vertical proportion of the tumbler suits this composition perfectly: crest at eye level, architecture at the base, ornament at the rim. The front-facing focal panel stays legible from across a room, while the wraparound numeral columns reward a closer look. Green lid and handle keep the palette unbroken, so carry presence is bold without shouting.
