Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and symmetrical. At distance, the eye lands on the ornate red "B", rendered as clustered jewel-like facets inside a silver-look outline, framed by an arched cathedral-style border. Beneath it, stacked typography reads BOSTON, RED SOX, and the smaller line THE PRIDE OF FENWAY, with a red hanging-socks motif closing the sequence. A badge above reads EST. 1901; side diamonds carry FENWAY PARK and BOSTON MASS. The lower register shifts scale entirely — an engraved-style ballpark facade, placards reading 379, GREEN MONSTER 37 FT, 420, and BUILT 1912. Banded rows of gem-like accents cap the top and base. Maximalist, but disciplined by its own architecture.

Use & Experience

The artwork wraps as two clear tiers: emblem above, stadium below, so the tumbler reads correctly whether seen across a desk or held close. The dark ground supplies the negative space, letting the red focal mark carry the whole vertical proportion.
