Some drinkware just carries a logo. This one builds a whole facade around it — a green and antique-silver relief that reads like a commemorative plaque wrapped into a vertical silhouette.

Design Story

The focal panel is a circular medallion set at chest height of the tumbler: the leaning leprechaun figure with pipe, bow tie, shamrock waistcoat and cane, one red basketball spinning above him, ringed by the words BOSTON CELTICS in white on deep green. Around it, the composition turns ornamental — knotwork bands, scrolling vines, quatrefoil shamrocks and diamond cartouches holding faceted green jewel-like accents. A lower register breaks into framed panels: a clover, a segmented ball, a trophy shape, all in gold-toned linework. The palette is disciplined — forest and emerald green against warm silver and restrained gold — so the maximalist detail never turns noisy. Distance read: the medallion. Close read: the ornament.

Use & Experience

Verticality does the work here. The ornament tapers toward the rim and thickens at the base, so the medallion sits front and centre while the handle side stays as clean negative space. Held in hand, it reads as a bold graphic accessory rather than a printed cup.
