Some floor pieces whisper. This one holds the room like an old theater poster nailed to the ground — and that is exactly why it works.
Design Story
The hierarchy is ruthless in the best way. From across the room you read three things: the arched red word CHICAGO, the bull emblem centered beneath it, and the gold filigree frame boxing everything in. Step closer and the second layer opens up — a night skyline with a pale full moon, a lit arena bowl seen from above, and a banner reading EST. 1966 in badge-style lettering. Up close, the ornate corner scrollwork, the four basketball roundels and the fine red-on-black border linework do the quiet work. Deep black ground, oxblood red, aged gold. Maximalist, but organized.
Room & Styling
As a floor composition it behaves like a framed medallion: the border treatment pulls the eye inward, the emblem sits high-center as the anchor, and the arena and banner stack the lower half so nothing floats. Placed open, it reads as one complete picture; slid partly under a coffee table, the frame still holds the edges and the bull stays visible. A clear statement floor piece for a den, game room or entry.
