Design Story

The eye lands first on the circular red-and-blue team roundel, ringed by gold filigree and set inside an arched, cathedral-like frame. Three gold stars sit at the crown. Below, a banner reads CHICAGO CUBS in serif capitals, then a line-drawn city skyline, an EST. 1876 badge, and a diamond-shaped plaque with award-style wording and year numerals. Navy pinstripes run vertically behind everything, with jewel-like blue accents scattered through the scrollwork. It is a layered, maximalist composition, but strictly ordered: emblem, name, skyline, plaque, top to bottom.

Use & Experience

That vertical stack suits a tumbler perfectly. The roundel sits at chest height as the focal panel, readable across a room, while the finer engraving-style detail rewards a closer look. Pinstripes follow the curve of the wraparound, and the gold band near the lid echoes the metallic-look accents in the artwork. The blue handle keeps the silhouette anchored.
