Design Story

At distance you read the type and the warm sand-toned field it sits on, framed by a deep blue geometric border with corner ship's wheels. At medium range the centre resolves: a small reindeer in a pink blossom hat sits open-armed on a red gingham blanket, ringed by a floral wreath, a Jolly Roger flag, palm fronds and a bright sun over open water. Closer still, the supporting cast appears — a picnic basket, a coconut drink, a treasure chest, a tankard, a curled snail, seashells and starfish scattered like souvenirs. The ribbon below reads SET SAIL FOR FUN, decorative wording rather than a claim. Ochre, coral red and ocean blue carry the whole composition.

Room & Styling

It is a classic centred medallion layout: one dominant subject, a busy but ordered ring of motifs, then a strong border that keeps the artwork from bleeding visually into the floor.
