Design Story

The hierarchy is unusually disciplined. From standing height you read the arched wordmark "DALLAS COWBOYS" in a collegiate slab face, then the single five-point star sitting dead centre as the medallion of the whole layout. Beneath it, a stadium bowl and a silhouetted skyline recede into the navy field, with a decorative banner reading "EST. 1960" — badge-style wording, treated as ornament rather than record. Closer in, the design reveals its real craft: filigree scrollwork, twin football roundels in the corners, starburst rays, and a multi-line border that frames the field like a printed engraving. The palette stays restrained — navy, cream, cool silver-grey — so tonal contrast, not colour, does the work.

Room & Styling

As a rug, this reads as a centred medallion layout with a strong border relationship: the ornamental frame follows the rectangular silhouette, keeping the star anchored and the negative space intentional. Motif scale is generous enough to survive a low viewing angle, so it anchors a room rather than disappearing under furniture.
