A single tonal idea, executed with restraint: deep burgundy as the ground, warm gold as the only voice. The result reads less like printed merchandise and more like an engraved object.

Design Story

The focal panel is a chest-up portrait rendered entirely in fine gold linework — upward gaze, arched brow, sharp goatee, hair swept back. Behind the head sits a large circular sigil built from concentric rings, geometric spokes and glyph-like detail, functioning as a halo and giving the composition its distance read. Shards break away to the left, dissolving the collar and layered robe into fragments so the artwork ends in a torn, feathered edge rather than a hard frame. Below, in wide-tracked capitals, sits DOCTOR STRANGE, with a small ornamental mark anchoring the base. Balanced, layered, monochrome-gold on oxblood.

Use & Experience

The graphic sits high on the vertical proportion, so the sigil catches the eye at standing height while the lower body of the tumbler stays clean and quiet. The wraparound composition fades outward toward the sides, leaving negative space around the handle side. Carry presence is deliberate: a bold graphic accessory that still tones down.
