Design Story

The focal panel is a gold-outlined shield sitting dead center on a deep purple, velvet-looking surface. Inside it: LOS ANGELES in small caps above a heavy serif LAKERS wordmark, then a segmented basketball with a violet jewel-like stone at its core, dropping into a fine gold net. A crown caps the shield, filigree scrollwork frames both sides, and a banner beneath reads PURPLE & GOLD DYNASTY. Lower down, badge-style wording reads LIMITED EDITION above a small team mark, with corner flourishes closing the composition. Two colors, one metallic gold line weight, strict symmetry. At distance you read the crest; up close you get the ornament.

Use & Experience

The vertical proportion of the tumbler does real work here — crown at the top, shield at the waist, secondary type in the tapered lower third, so nothing fights for attention. The crest reads clean from across a room, and the plain purple field to the left keeps the handle side visually quiet. Carry presence is formal rather than loud: a bold graphic accessory that still looks composed on a desk.
