Design Story

The centre is held by a spired castle rendered in slate greys against a bruised, storm-toned sky. Two ravens perch on shields — fleur-de-lis on deep blue, a gold cross on oxblood — each crowned above, mirroring one another across the vertical axis. Lower down, twin gargoyles crouch on stone plinths and frame a crowned crest with a gold lion and crossed swords, the true focal anchor at floor level. A gold-on-burgundy border of scrollwork, fleur-de-lis roundels and knight's helms closes the field with a clean, deliberate edge.

Room & Styling

As a floor composition the hierarchy reads perfectly at room scale: the crest and gargoyles carry the near view, the castle rises as you step back, and the ornate border defines the rug's footprint without letting the artwork bleed away.
