The eye lands on the shield first. A deep green crest, oval logo centered, framed by gold scrollwork that behaves less like sports merchandise and more like a museum plaque.
Design Story
The composition is vertical and symmetrical: a crown-topped shield at the top third, crossed sword motifs behind it, then a ribbon banner carrying the words GREEN BAY in small caps above PACKERS in heavy gold lettering. Below that sits a football, flanked by oak-leaf sprays that spill toward the base, where an edition-style band reads LIMITED EDITION as decorative wording. The palette holds two notes: forest green and antique gold, laid over a warm ivory ground. Metallic-looking relief and jewel-like green accents are painted effects, not real materials. It is maximalist, but ordered.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, this reads well because the artwork respects the silhouette. The crest occupies the widest part of the body as the focal panel, the banner sits at natural eye level, and the ornament tapers as the form narrows toward the base. Gold banding at the top echoes the rim, and the handle-side motif repeats the small oval mark, keeping the wrap continuous. High statement level, but the ivory ground gives it breathing room.
