Design Story

At distance, the eye meets the long diagonal of the sword, cutting the front panel corner to corner and setting the entire structure. Around it, a brush-drawn enso opens rather than closes, its lower arc weighted in warm rust orange, its upper arc dissolving into black splatter. From that darkness a fragmented mask emerges — pale, striped, half-formed — the only element that looks back at you. Behind everything, a pale hexagonal crest sits almost invisible, giving depth without competing. On the left margin, vertical lettering reads ICHIGO above a column of kanji and a small hexagonal seal, a narrow typographic spine that steadies the wide ink gesture beside it.

Carry & Styling

The graphic occupies most of the front panel yet keeps generous cream space along the top edge, so the artwork never crowds the handles. The blade's diagonal carries the eye upward toward the carry point, while the ink circle anchors visual weight low, where the bag naturally sits against the body. Read at walking distance it registers as one confident mark; up close the splatter, petals and mask detail unfold. A bold graphic accessory that still reads as restrained — neutral enough for daily carry, distinct enough to be the only pattern in an outfit.
