Design Story

The hierarchy is textbook. From across the room you read the gold block lettering — "KANSAS CITY" small and arched, "CHIEFS" huge and slab-heavy — against a deep crimson field. Below it, the white arrowhead with the interlocking red monogram sits dead center as the medallion, outlined in black so it separates cleanly from the busy background. Step closer and the supporting layer appears: a sepia-toned skyline rendered in fine linework, a stadium bowl seen from above with red seating and a green field, and two footballs anchoring the bottom corners. A scroll banner reads "EST. 1960" as badge-style decorative wording. The gold scrollwork border wraps all four edges and does the real work — it contains the chaos and keeps the eye circling inward instead of leaking off the sides.
