Design Story

The hierarchy reads cleanly at three distances. From across the room, the arrowhead emblem sits dead centre in a burgundy sunburst arch, its red interlocking letterform anchoring the whole composition. Step closer and the banner typography resolves: KANSAS CITY above, CHIEFS in heavy gold-outlined capitals, with a lower badge reading LIMITED EDITION as decorative edition-style wording. Closest in, the detail work carries it — engraved-looking columns, stepped Deco chevrons, a small football motif set into the lower register, and fine linework fanning from the emblem like stadium floodlights. Cream negative space keeps the gold from tipping into excess.

Vertical proportion does the heavy lifting here. The composition stacks banner, medallion and base register in three clear tiers, so the tumbler reads as a designed object from any angle. The gold-toned handle picks up the palette rather than interrupting it, and the deep red lid closes the colour story at the top.
