Design Story

The composition reads in three distances. Far off: the black nameplate with KANSAS CITY set small above CHIEFS in heavy gold-effect lettering, and beneath it a large medallion framing the white arrowhead with its interlocked KC monogram against a radiating burgundy sunburst. Mid-distance: a lower banner with LIMITED EDITION in badge-style wording, plus a football motif set into scrollwork near the base. Up close: laurel leaves, fleur-like finials, faux-gem accents and engraved-looking filigree fill nearly every surface. It is maximalist but disciplined — symmetrical, vertically stacked, with gold linework carrying the eye from lid rim to base.

Use & Experience

The wraparound artwork uses the tumbler's vertical proportion deliberately: nameplate high, medallion centred at the widest read, banner and base ornament closing the column. Ornamental detailing continues onto the handle area, so the piece holds together from any angle. Carry presence is high — a statement object on a desk or counter, not a quiet one.
