Design Story

The visual anchor is a circular basketball emblem in deep gold, crossed by a white banner carrying the words LOS ANGELES in small caps above an oversized purple LAKERS wordmark. That type does the distance work. Around it, scrollwork in a metallic-looking gold tone frames a violet ground, punctuated by jewel-like faceted accents in amethyst, champagne and clear tones. Lower on the body, a second, smaller oval medallion holds a trophy motif, echoing the upper circle and giving the wrap a two-beat vertical rhythm. A diamond-set band closes the base. Maximalist, but hierarchical: gold outlines, purple fills, white banner as the highest-contrast break.

Vertical proportion suits the layered composition — the large emblem sits at chest height on the tumbler where it faces forward, the trophy medallion carries the lower third, and the plain upper collar gives the eye somewhere to rest.
