Design Story

The composition is built on a deep black ground with a leather-look grain and faint geometric etching along the sides. At the top sits the team crest in purple and gold; beneath it, a circular focal panel holds a basketball rendered in violet tones with LOS ANGELES LAKERS lettering across its face. Diamond-shaped jewel-like accents, clear and purple, anchor the corners of the frame. Lower on the body, trophy motifs and the badge-style wording 17X CHAMPIONS and BASKETBALL LEGACY LIMITED EDITION are set in restrained gold type. It is layered and ceremonial rather than loud, with gold banding at the rim and base closing the composition.

Use & Experience

The vertical proportion of the tumbler suits this design: crest high, medallion at eye level, typography stacked toward the tapered base. The front-facing focal panel does the work while the etched side texture keeps the wrap quiet, so the graphic never competes with itself.
