Most team drinkware shouts. This one lowers its voice. Against a soft cream body, a small purple and gold basketball emblem sits high on the front panel, and everything below it is written in thin metallic gold. The effect is less arena, more quiet morning counter.
Design Story
The visual hierarchy is deliberate. The team crest reads first, the only place purple appears, anchoring the composition just below the gold rim band. Beneath it, a slim gold circle frames the words LOS ANGELES, with a faceted gold sphere resting on the ring like a pendant on a chain. Then two lines of widely spaced capitals, BASKETBALL LEGACY and, after a short rule, LIMITED EDITION as decorative badge-style wording. Cream, gold, a single flash of purple. Nothing crowds anything else.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, that restraint pays off. The artwork occupies the upper front panel only, leaving the tapered lower body as clean negative space, so the vertical proportion reads tall rather than busy. The graphic scale is small enough to sit beside the handle without competing with it, and the gold linework echoes the band beneath the lid. Carry presence: understated, considered.
