Design Story

At distance the read is simple: a large interlocking orange NY monogram centered on a dark arched panel, flanked by architectural columns and a banner reading NEW YORK METS. Medium distance reveals the supporting layer - an engraved-style city skyline along the lower third, a bridge silhouette, and a badge-style EST. 1962 plaque above a baseball emblem. Up close, the detail turns decorative: crown-like faceted accents, star motifs, scrollwork borders, and jewel-look highlights in amber, blue and clear tones. The palette is disciplined - navy ground, orange focal mark, cool metallic greys - so the monogram never competes with the surrounding ornament.
