Design Story

The eye lands first on the mascot: a fur-textured wolverine in a cap and jersey, mid-stride, football tucked in one arm, mouth open in a roar. Behind it sits a block M in maize, scaled large enough to read across a room. Beneath, the typography does the heavy lifting - HAIL TO THE VICTORS! in a slim outlined line, then GO BLUE! in thick dimensional letters with layered shadowing. Supporting motifs fill the remaining space in collage rhythm: a stadium panel labelled THE BIG HOUSE, a pennant, a helmet, footballs, a foam finger, a megaphone, scattered stars. Everything is rendered with a raised, sticker-like look, all maize on navy, maximalist but ordered by scale.

The composition wraps the tumbler vertically, mascot high near the rim, typography anchoring the mid-body, smaller motifs settling toward the base. The handle sits in navy, letting the graphic panel face outward uninterrupted. Carry presence is high - it reads as a statement accessory rather than a quiet one.
