Design Story

At distance you read the circular emblem — the interlocking monogram framed by an arched banner reading NEW YORK above and YANKEES below. Mid-range, a gilded city skyline rises across the lower third, towers and bridge arches drawn in fine ornamental linework. Up close, scrollwork, filigree borders and a small plaque with badge-style wording, The Bronx, New York, Established 1903, fill the negative space. The palette is disciplined: two tones only, midnight navy against warm brass-like gold, with a blue faceted lid and gold rim closing the composition top and bottom. Maximalist, but hierarchical — nothing competes with the medallion.
