Some drinkware graphics shout. This one poses. It takes navy pinstripes, a medallion badge and a jeweller's sense of symmetry, then lets stillness do the heavy lifting.
Design Story
The focal panel is a circular medallion built around the interlocking NY monogram, rendered as a silver-look emblem on a deep navy sunburst. Around it, rings of clear and blue jewel-like stones form a compass-style starburst — pure Art Deco geometry, radiating outward in four points. Below sits a gold-framed plaque reading NEW YORK, 1903, PRIVATE RESERVE, 001 OF 500, styled like a decorative edition badge rather than a stated fact. Vertical pinstripes run the full body and keep the eye moving upward, while a fan-motif Deco border and a curved baseball-stitch line close the base. Colour hierarchy is disciplined: navy field, gold linework, silver-white sparkle accents. At distance you read the medallion. Up close, the small stone settings and engraved-look sunburst appear.
Use & Experience
The vertical proportion of the tumbler suits this layout perfectly — badge high, plaque centred, ornamental band at the foot, so the composition reads top to bottom instead of fighting the curve. The navy handle and lid tone in rather than compete, and the graphic stays front-facing, giving a strong carry presence without visual clutter.
