Design Story

The focal panel is an interlocking monogram crest set in a pale blue disc, ringed by an orange hairline and framed by the words NEW YORK CITY and FOOTBALL CLUB. Above it, a banner-style ribbon repeats the city name under three small stars; below, a badge-style bar reads New York and 2013, with a lower ribbon carrying the phrase The FC made in NYC. A football motif closes the base. Everything sits on an engraved-looking ground of scrollwork, skyline suggestion and ornamental borders — dark navy, cool sky blue, silver-grey, with orange used only as an accent line. Layered, symmetrical, decorative rather than loud.
