Design Story

The front panel is built as a single vertical hierarchy. At distance you catch the arched wordmark PHILADELPHIA above a thin rule and the smaller line FOOTBALL CLUB, then the shield below carrying the eagle-head mark in white and grey. A crowned oval reading PHI caps the crest, framed by symmetrical laurel sprays, with a banner beneath lettered EST. 1933 as decorative heritage wording. Lower down, a small winged emblem and a pale cream band carrying LIMITED RESERVE with a badge-style line beneath it. Colour is restrained to three tones: green ground, gold detail, cream accent.

Use & Experience

The vertical proportion of the tumbler suits this layout perfectly, stacking type, crest and base band into a clean top-to-bottom rhythm. The dark ground gives the gold detail contrast, while the cream band anchors the silhouette visually. The side-facing PHI medallion echoes the crest across the handle side, keeping the wraparound composition balanced. Quiet carry presence, closer to a members-club object than a novelty print.
