Design Story

Center stage is a chibi figure with crimson spiked hair and a striped headband, seated cross-legged in black robes, smirking rather than fighting. Around him the composition scatters supporting motifs at even weight: a bento box of onigiri, dango skewers, a melon bowl, an iced drink, a woven picnic basket, a sheathed sword, a straw hat, stacked books, and a black banner carrying a flaming skull emblem. Kanji panels and the numeral six anchor top and bottom. The palette stays restrained — aged cream, faded rose, charcoal black, muted crimson — with cherry blossoms drifting through the negative space. A checkered sakura border frames the whole field and corner diamonds close each edge, giving the layout clear hierarchy: centered figure, orbiting still-life, decisive frame.

Room & Styling

As a rug the structure works: the seated figure holds the middle at viewing distance, the food and object motifs fill the mid-field so furniture legs never land on dead space, and the patterned border keeps the edge relationship crisp against plain flooring.
