The front panel reads like an illustrated page from a travel journal: a woman reclining on a beach blanket, one hand resting against sunglasses pushed into dark hair, a ship drifting on the horizon behind her. Nothing hurries. That is the point.
Design Story
Robin anchors the centre of the composition, seated in a soft blue top and a violet sarong that spreads outward across a woven-look blanket and becomes the largest colour block on the panel. Around her, the artist scatters supporting detail: a bottle, a small cup, a stone tablet marked with carved-looking glyphs, a compass, a cluster of purple blooms. Behind, pale watercolour surf, gulls, a distant ship and a palm frond leaning in from the upper right. A vertical column of Japanese lettering runs down the left edge with a small crest beneath it, framing the scene and holding the negative space in balance.
Carry & Styling
The graphic sits low and wide on the front panel, leaving clean space above so the artwork never crowds the handle seams. The purple sarong and blue top carry the distance read; the tablet, compass and flowers reward a closer look. Against the natural surface tone, it lands as a balanced, illustrative statement rather than a loud one — a bag that works with linen, denim and summer neutrals while still telling a full story when carried.
