Design Story

The focal panel holds a bust-length figure with long crimson hair, an open collar and a level, serious stare. Around him sits a thin circular framework of ring segments, tick marks and faint code-like lettering, with a few pale diagonal streaks cutting behind the shoulders. The palette is disciplined: charcoal ground, warm skin tones, and red used sparingly as the accent that carries the eye. Beneath the circle, the word SHANKS is set in wide-spaced red capitals, small enough to stay refined. Composition is balanced rather than maximalist, with generous negative space below.

Use & Experience

Scale is judged well for the tumbler's vertical proportion: the circular emblem occupies the upper front-facing area, sitting comfortably between the rim band and the tapered lower body, so the graphic stays legible when the vessel is held or carried. The red accents at the lid, handle and base line echo the artwork's accent colour, tying the composition around the whole drinkware silhouette. The empty lower half acts as breathing room, keeping the statement level high but never noisy.
