Design Story

At distance you read three things: the huge distressed numerals stretching edge to edge, the deep red circle behind the figure, and the raw brush-lettered name across the bottom. Shanks sits dead centre, arms crossed, expression calm and unbothered — no action, just presence. That stillness is what makes the surrounding chaos work: crimson slash marks, a cracked ink halo, and the aged off-white ground do the moving so he doesn't have to. Around the edges, smaller elements build the second read — a skull-and-crossbones emblem, a spade badge, vertical Japanese lettering down the left, a circular stamp and small anchor on the right. Nothing floats aimlessly; every mark frames the centre.

Carry & Styling

On the front panel this reads as near-full coverage with a clear hierarchy: numbers up top, figure in the middle, name anchoring the base. The layout stays legible while carried because the strongest shapes sit high and central, well clear of the handles.
