Design Story

The focal panel is the red-and-gold shield, centred inside a medallion of radiating linework and stacked crystal shapes. Above it, an arched banner reads SUPERMAN in serif capitals; lower on the body, a second scrolled banner carries UP, UP, AND AWAY!. The palette is disciplined: pewter grey base, warm gold accents, one deep red. Supporting motifs — a crystal cluster, a sunburst rosette, a globe marked DAILY PLANET — sit in a lower register like panels on an engraved plate, with tiny blue and red gem-look points punctuating the borders. Fine hatching and scrollwork read only up close, giving the composition three viewing distances.

Use & Experience

The vertical proportion of the tumbler suits this layered wrap: crest at eye level, banner text top and bottom, borders resolving neatly at the rim and base. Graphic scale is deliberate — one strong anchor, dense detail around it, no crowding. High statement level for a desk or commute, but the restrained palette keeps it wearable alongside neutrals.
