A portrait treated like an emblem: still, composed, and framed with the restraint of a crest rather than a poster.
Design Story
The focal panel holds a three-quarter male portrait in fine gold linework, jaw set, gaze angled off-frame, beard and layered hair drawn in engraved-style hatching. Behind him sits a circular halo device built from alternating lightning bolts and small hammer motifs, with knotwork medallions at the cardinal points, so the head reads as the visual anchor and the ring supplies rhythm without noise. Colour is tightly controlled: a deep oxblood red at the top dissolving into near-black at the base, with metallic-looking gold as the only accent. Below the shoulders and cloak lines, generous negative space carries the small capitalised wordmark THOR ODINSON, and a single miniature hammer icon closes the composition near the foot.
Use & Experience
The vertical gradient follows the tumbler's proportion, keeping the graphic weight high on the front-facing panel and letting the darker lower half recede. The medallion sits clear of the visible handle side, so the composition stays readable from the front while the wrap fades to quiet tone at the back. Statement level is deliberate but not loud.

Restrained gold, deep red, one steady gaze — carry presence without shouting.
