Design Story

The composition is smart because it is vertical by design. The figure runs almost the entire height of the tumbler, head near the rim, boots near the base, so the drinkware silhouette itself becomes the frame. Dominant colours are gold and deep blue against a dark, weathered ground, with rust-toned burst fragments radiating outward like the artwork punched through the surface. That torn halo is the tension engine: chaotic edges around an absolutely still figure. At distance you read the yellow mask and the outstretched claws. Closer in, the sculpted-looking shading on the chest, belt buckle and boots adds depth without clutter.

Use & Experience

Scale is the whole trick here. The graphic anchors the front panel as one uninterrupted focal image, the dark background wraps around the sides so the artwork never feels cropped, and the negative space at the top keeps the head from crowding the lid area.
