Design Story

At distance, the interlocked NY monogram reads first — pale silver, raised-looking, seated inside a deep navy medallion ringed with jewel-like points and a small crown above. Above it, arched lettering spells NEW YORK YANKEES in a heavy serif, its scale doing the work of a headline. Below, a banner reads BRONX BOMBERS, with EST. and 1903 flanking a league-style badge as decorative wording rather than verified record. The lower register softens into a line-etched stadium facade. Navy and antique gold carry the entire hierarchy; laurel scrolls, bats and ball motifs fill the margins in a layered, near-maximalist arrangement that still resolves into symmetry.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, the vertical stack suits the silhouette exactly: type at the shoulder, emblem at the visual center, architecture toward the base. The wraparound ornament keeps the design alive as the vessel turns, while the navy handle at the right edge repeats the field color and closes the frame.
